Cabos is an open source file sharing Japanese program ideal for those who do not like complications, since it stands out for its simple search function and for adapting its language interface to the system native language, automatically.

It is a P2P client for open source Gnutella networks. It is based in Acquisition and LimeWire and it connects to the networks to be used with other users and share files directly. Through its simple sidebar, you can access all information about the network, searching, downloading and uploading files.

Among many other options, it also has features for managing transmission, restricting users who do not share a minimum, support for firewall to firewall transfers, transfers by proxy, integration with iTunes + iPod and integration with Creative Commons, and incomplete files resume. It can also be used as a manager program for data transmission to mobile or remote devices within a local network. Also, you can filter and/or examine your search results.

One of its more interesting features is to look for "what's new", that allows to you access to the files recently added to the network, with a single one click.

Requirements: Windows 2000 or later. Java 1.5 or later, 128 MB RAM or more.
